The Thomas Jefferson girls tennis team defeated Aurora 9-0 on Thursday.
The Cavaliers are now 8-1 on the season.
In singles play, Thomas Jefferson’s Allison Ding defeated Olivia Ray 8-3, Jeanna Jeyaraj beat Emily Gearhart 8-2 and Kyla Yang topped McKenna Bradley 8-1.
Also for the Cavaliers, Jessica Joseph edged Kloey Boyd 9-7, Warda Morsy handled Libby Sawyers 8-0 and Emalee Ro defeated Payden Blevins 8-1.
In doubles, Ding and Jeyaraj defeated Ray and Bradley 8-1, while Yang and Joseph handled Gearhart-Boyd 8-0 and Morsy and Jiao Jiao Nelson defeated Sawyers 8-1.
The Cavaliers will host Carl Junction on Monday.
