GIRLS TENNIS: Cavaliers improve to 5-0 with win over Monett

The Thomas Jefferson girls tennis team defeated Monett 9-0 on Tuesday. 

Tom Brumfield’s Cavaliers are now 5-0.

In singles action, Thomas Jefferson’s Allison Ding defeated Megan Hull 8-0, Jeanna Jeyaraj beat Sofia Semerad 8-3 and Kyla Yang defeated Deleny Rueda 8-0.

Also for the Cavaliers, Jessica Joseph defeated Valery Moncivaiz 8-1, Warda Morsy beat Vayla Smith 8-0 and Emalee Ro handled Salas Hernandez 8-1. 

In doubles, Ding and Jeyaraj defeated Hull-Smith 8-0, while Yang and Ro beat Semerad-Moncivaiz 8-2 and Joseph and Morsy handled Rueda-Hernandez 8-2.

Thomas Jefferson is at the Monett Invitational on Wednesday before a dual against Webb City on Thursday.
