NEOSHO, Mo. — Mount Vernon girls tennis earned a 9-0 win over Neosho on Monday.
In No. 1 singles play, Jessah Anderson earned an 8-4 win over Neosho’s Claudia Martensen, while Isabella Mosley finished with an 8-0 win over Jasmine Martinez in No. 2 singles action. Mount Vernon’s Allison Schubert earned an 8-3 win over Lyndsey Doke in No. 3 singles, with Vicki Moore beating Alex Olsbo 8-0. In the final two singles matches, Mount Vernon’s Audrey Bittle earned an 8-0 win over Georgia Housh, while Triniti Robinson defeated Keely Keeton 8-2.
In doubles play, Martensen and Martinez fell 8-3 to Mosley and Moore, while Anderson and Milly Burk defeated Doke and Housh 8-0. In the final doubles matchup, Schubert and Robinson earned an 8-0 win over Keeton and Cadence Martensen.
