Featuring eight local teams, the 16th annual Paige Neal/Christina Freeman Softball Tourney will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Joplin Athletic Complex.
The event is sponsored in part by the Joplin Sports Authority.
Pool A features Joplin, Monett, Carl Junction and Carthage, while Pool B consists of Neosho, Seneca, Webb City and Nevada.
Games begin at 4 on Friday and the tourney wraps up on Saturday.
The Gold Bracket’s championship game is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.
According to JHS Athletic Director Matt Hiatt, occupancy will be limited to 50% capacity and masks are required when unable to socially distance.
