Wrestling: With six individual champions, Neosho wins home tournament

NEOSHO, Mo. — The host Wildcats won the 33rd annual Neosho Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
The Wildcats finished with a team score of 263, while Farmington was second with 167 and Willard took third with 144.
Neosho had six individual champions—Hayden Crane (132), Eli Zar (145), Collyn Kivett (152), Cayden Auch (170), Jacob Fry (195) and Jeremiah Larson (220).
Wyatt Black (106), Raymond Hembree (113) and Trent Neece (160) all finished second in their brackets.
Landon Kivett (126) and Eric Holt (182) placed third, Nate Copeland (138) finished fourth, while Will Meyer (120) and Nikolas Olivares (285) placed fifth.
McDonald County’s Blaine Ortiz was the champion at 120, while Levi Smith was the runner-up at 138 and Samuel Murphy placed second at 220.
