PREP BASEBALL: Webb City scores 21 runs in win at Ozark

OZARK, Mo. —  Treghan Parker and Matt Woodmansee combined to drive in 11 runs as the Webb City Cardinals rolled to a 21-5 win at Ozark on Thursday. 

The Cardinals improved to 13-2 and 2-1 in the Central Ozark Conference.

Webb City needed just three innings to plate 21 runs on 16 hits. The Cardinals scored four runs in the first, eight in the second and nine in the third. 

A senior shortstop, Parker drove in six runs on three hits, including a home run, to lead the Cardinals. 

Woodmansee drove in five on three hits, including his first home run of the season. 

Everyone got into the act for the Cardinals, as Devrin Weathers, Cole Gayman and Jeremiah Leaming all had two hits apiece, while Gayman, Aiden Brock, Eli Goddard and Leaming had two RBI apiece. 

Shane Noel, Weathers, Parker and Woodmansee scored three runs apiece, while Eric Fitch, Brock, Goddard and Leaming scored two runs apiece. 

Gayman earned the pitching victory. He went all three innings and scattered six hits and struck out four. 

Ozark’s Holden Sabor, Colton Casteel and Greydon Miller had one RBI apiece. 

Webb City is scheduled to play at St. Mary’s Colgan at 4:30 on Friday, weather permitting.
