WEBB CITY, Mo. — In the final home date on the schedule, Webb City defeated Republic 3-1 on Thursday inside the Cardinal Dome.
The Cardinals defeated the Tigers 25-22, 24-26, 25-17, 25-17.
Webb City senior Kearston Galardo recorded team-highs of 15 kills and 20 digs.
Brenda Lawrence added 11 kills and Kate Brownfield had eight kills. Kenzie Storm had two kills, two aces and four digs.
Kyah Sanborn had 33 assists and nine digs, while Sophia Crane contributed 10 digs.
Brownfield had seven digs and Jenna Noel added six.
Rilynn Finley had 10 kills for Republic, while Payge Plank had 40 assists and Claire Esther had 11 digs.
Winners of three straight, Webb City (18-11-2) ends the regular season on Tuesday with a rivalry matchup at Carthage.
