Joplin’s girls tennis team earned a 9-0 win over Neosho on Tuesday in Central Ozark Conference action.
In doubles action, Joplin’s Emma Watts and Brynn Driver defeated Claudia Martensen and Lyndsey Doke 8-1, while Jensen Vowels and Mya Ndedi Ntepe beat Keely Keeton and Sydnee Minton 8-1.
At No. 3 doubles, Joplin’s Alex Carson and Bonnie Smith defeated Claire Burghart and Emma VanDorn 8-0.
In singles action, Watts beat Martensen 8-0, Vowels defeated Doke 8-1 and Ndedi Ntepe topped Georgia Housh 8-1.
Also, Driver beat Keeton 8-0, Carson defeated Minton 8-0 and Smith topped Burghart 8-0.

The Cavaliers improved to 8-0 with a convincing win at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
In doubles, Thomas Jefferson’s Allison Ding and Jeanna Jeyaraj defeated Isabella Garcia and Keerti Vittalam 8-0, while Kyla Yang and Mayson Solum edged Aliza Hassan and Ansley Arquitt 8-6 and Warda Morsy and Jessica Joseph beat Lilly Soscoe-Allison Foresee 8-1.
In singles action, Ding defeated Vittalam 8-3, Yang beat Arquitt 8-1, Morsy handled Alexandra Johnson 8-0, Joseph defeated Siscoe 8-0, Solum beat Abigail Schultz 8-0 and Emalee Ro won by default.
