BOYS SOCCER ROUNDUP: Parrigon leads CHC past Webb City; Welle records hat trick for Carthage

COLLEGE HEIGHTS 3, WEBB CITY 1 

Michael Parrigon scored a pair of goals to lead College Heights Christian (with McAuley Catholic) to a 3-1 win over Webb City on Thursday in non-conference boys soccer action.

Parrigon scored in the third minute, with Corban Thomas assisting.

CHC’s Bo Sitton scored in the 61st minute, with Ian Edwards getting the assist.

Parrigon scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute.

College Heights (4-3) will compete at the Greenwood Tournament on Saturday. 

 

CARTHAGE 6, MCDONALD COUNTY 0

CARTHAGE, Mo. — Welle Welle recorded a hat trick for Carthage, as the junior midfielder scored goals in the eighth, 16th and 48th minutes.

Silas Laytham added two goals for Carthage. They came in the third and 40th minutes.

Reece Horton converted Carthage’s final goal.

Carthage (8-2) hosts Carl Junction on Tuesday.
