BOYS SOCCER: Neosho, College Heights advance to district title games

NEOSHO ADVANCES, WEBB CITY FALLS

Top-seeded Neosho defeated fourth-seeded Willard 8-0 in a semifinal contest of the Class 3 District 6 boys soccer tournament on Tuesday at Bolivar High School.

In the other semifinal, second-seeded Bolivar defeated third-seeded Webb City 3-1.

The Cardinals finish the season with a record of 12-9.

Neosho (13-4) meets Bolivar (17-5) at 5:30 on Thursday night in the district championship game.

 

COLLEGE HEIGHTS MOVES ON

Top-seeded College Heights Christian with McAuley Catholic beat fourth-seeded Stover 8-0 in a semifinal contest of the Class 1 District 6 tournament on Tuesday.

The Cougars (13-4) will take on third-seeded Fair Grove (12-8-1) at 5 on Thursday in the district championship game at the Joplin Athletic Complex.

Fair Grove defeated second-seeded New Covenant to advance.
