The Carthage High School boys swim team took first place at the Springfield Invitational on Friday.
Tigers coach Braden McBride said every CHS swimmer who competed recorded a new personal-best time at the event.
Carthage finished with 216 points, followed by Logan-Rogersville (189), Springfield Central (188), Marshfield (187), Waynesville (167), Lebanon (160) and Hillcrest (56).
The Tigers finished first in two events.
Ezekiel Ramirez won the 200-yard freestyle (2:02) and the team’s 400 freestyle relay team of Ramirez, Kellen Frieling, Eli Cox and Will Wallace took first in 3:47.
Second-place finishers were Wallace (200 IM), Noah Blackford (100 backstroke), Gibson Huelat (100 breaststroke) and 200 freestyle relay team of Ramirez, Frieling, Cox and Wallace.
The 200 medley relay finished third, while Cox took third in the 100 butterfly.
The Tigers host an invite on Thursday.
