Nevada’s Emree Cameron was the runner-up at the Big 8 girls golf tournament on Monday at the Carthage Golf Course.
Cameron shot a 69, two strokes behind Marshfield’s Marlee Edgeman, who repeated as the conference’s individual champ.
Springfield Catholic’s duo of Ava and Grace Tiedemann tied for third place with identical scores of 72, while Rogersville’s Emma Spurlin was fifth with a 73.
Mount Vernon’s Kenadi Killingsworth and Catholic’s Sarah Han tied for sixth (77), Cassville’s Avery Chappell was eighth (81), followed by Lamar’s Victoria O’Neal (82), Rogersville’s Lili Foster (82) and Mount Vernon’s Madi Phillips (82).
Finishing 12th through 15, and rounding out the all-conference medalists, were Monett’s Katie Geiss (85), Reeds Spring’s Saylor Johnson (90), Nevada’s Paige Hertzberg (90), Mount Vernon’s Emily Schubert (91) and Lamar’s Zavrie Wiss (91).
With three of the top seven finishers, Springfield Catholic won the team title (314). Mount Vernon (348) and Rogersville (358) were second and third, with Nevada (364) fourth.
