Members of the Central Ozark Conference have approved the admittance of Glendale and Kickapoo into the conference, beginning with the 2024-25 school year.
Nixa High School released a press release on Thursday morning confirming the additions to the COC.
“We are excited to welcome the Chiefs and Falcons into the COC and look forward to future competitions,” the press release stated.
Glendale and Kickapoo are both moving into the COC from the Ozark Conference.
With the addition of Glendale and Kickapoo, all of the COC schools have an enrollment over 1,000.
According to the press release, the COC high schools have the following enrollments: Joplin 1,664, Kickapoo 1,507, Nixa 1,478, Ozark 1,369, Carthage 1,232, Neosho 1,157, Republic 1,148, Glendale 1,098, Willard 1,061 and Webb City 1,011.
