CASSVILLE, Mo. — Carl Junction’s girls and Neosho’s boys claimed the team championships at the Cassville Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday.
GIRLS RESULTS
Carl Junction’s girls had 39 points, followed by Neosho (58) and Blue Eye (95).
The top five individuals were Blue Eye’s Riley Arnold (19:25), Lamar’s Kiersten Potter (19:45), Neosho’s Riley Kemna (20:03), Aurora’s Kaci Singer (20:22) and Neosho’s Chloe Wood (20:22).
Finishing sixth through 10th were Cassville’s Jolie Evans, Carl Junction’s Hannah Franks, Cassville’s Annie Moore and Carl Junction’s duo of Ally Montez and Sadie Burchett.
Rounding out the top 15 were Carl Junction’s Alexis Carpenter and Riley Briggs, Neosho’s Bailey Miller, Blue Eye’s Olivia Cardenzana and Hollister’s Katherine Schaefer.
College Heights Christian’s Jayli Johnson finished 18th, while McAuley Catholic’s Kendall Ramsey finished 33rd.
BOYS RESULTS
Neosho finished with 53 points, while Blue Eye (89) and Lamar (91) were second and third. Carl Junction (92) took fourth.
The top five runners were Blue Eye’s Ryan Cardenzana (15:55), Neosho’s Kaden Cole (16:10), Carl Junction’s Collin Emmert (16:20), East Newton’s Kelton Sorrell (16:29) and Monett’s Julio Cruz (16:43).
Finishing sixth through 10th were East Newton’s Gabe Bergen, Southwest’s Christian Long, Blue Eye’s Jadon Weaver, Southwest’s Caden Uthe and Carl Junction’s Jack Lawson.
Rounding out the top 15 were Neosho’s Carson Newell, Purdy’s Bryce Ozbun, Carl Junctio’s Brock Feken, Neosho’s Harry Slinkard and Cassville’s Caleb Leach.
College Heights’ Derrick McMillan, Rolen Sanderson and Caleb Quade finished 42nd, 43rd and 44th, respectively.
McAuley Catholic’s top runners were Phillip Motazedi (62nd), Armando Alberto (65th) and Drew Zeb (82nd).
