The Pittsburg State volleyball team fell to Central Missouri on Tuesday, 3-1. The loss dropped the Gorillas to 4-9 on the season and 3-5 in the MIAA.
The Jennies started the match on fire early winning the first set 25-14. Central Missouri snuck by the Gorillas in set two winning the set 25-22. The Gorillas picked up set three with a 25-20 win. The Jennies finished the game with a set four victory 25-20.
With the loss the Gorillas currently hold the fourth seed in the MIAA South Division. The Gorillas will take on fifth seed Emporia State for its final regular season game of the spring. The match is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday in John Lance Arena. Senior night festivities will begin before the match.
