LOCKWOOD, Mo. — McAuley Catholic’s boys basketball team suffered a 51-45 setback to Lockwood on Monday night.
Lockwood led 16-7 at the end of the first quarter and 27-15 at halftime. McAuley’s deficit was 39-24 entering the fourth quarter, and the Warriors were unable to rally in the final frame.
Michael Parrigon led McAuley with nine points, while Rocco Bazzano-Joseph and Trey Martinez each finished with six. Elijah Kerr scored 21 points for Lockwood.
McAuley (4-10) hosts Wyandotte, Oklahoma, at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
