BOYS SOCCER: Neosho, Webb City earn district wins

 

Neosho and Webb City won quarterfinal contests of the Class 3 District 6 boys soccer tournament on Monday at Bolivar High School.

Top-seeded Neosho defeated eighth-seeded Ruskin 8-0, while third-seeded Webb City topped sixth-seeded Carl Junction 4-1.

In other quarterfinal matchups, No. 4 Willard beat No. 5 Grandview 2-1 and No. 2 Bolivar defeated No. 7 McDonald County 6-0.

In Tuesday’s semifinals, Neosho takes on Willard at 4:30 and Webb City meets Bolivar at 6:30. 

The semifinal winners will meet at 5:30 on Thursday for the district championship.
