PREP VOLLEYBALL: Carthage comes from behind to beat Branson

BRANSON, Mo. — Overcoming a first-set loss, Carthage’s volleyball team earned a 3-1 win at Branson on Tuesday night. 

The set scores were 14-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Three players reached double figures in kills for the Tigers, as Sydnee Dudolski had 18 kills, Abby Holderbaum had 11 and Grace Pickering added 10. 

Mia Camarillo chipped in seven kills, while Sophie Shannon had six. 

Raven Probert handed out 18 assists for the Tigers, while Olivia Bourgault had a team-high 31 digs.

Dudolski added 19 digs, while Probert and Ava Bourgault added 12 digs apiece. 

Carthage (16-12-1) hosts Ozark on Thursday night.

The Tigers, who will be the No. 1 seed for the Class 5 District 12 tournament, end the regular season with a home date against Webb City next Tuesday.
