Four conference championships and a pair of runner-up finishes propelled Webb City’s boys to a first place finish in the Central Ozark Conference All-Sports Standings for the 2020-21 school year.
Webb City’s boys captured three COC championships in the fall, with outright titles in cross country and swimming and a co-championship in football.
In the spring, the Cardinals added a COC title in boys track, while second place finishes in baseball and golf also proved big in the standings.
Webb City compiled 77 total points in the standings, while Nixa was second with 72 and Ozark was third with 71.
Carthage shared the conference title with Webb City in football.
Joplin’s boys won a conference title in golf and took second in track.
Neosho’s boys claimed conference titles in soccer and wrestling.
As far as the girls standings, Nixa took first with 77.5 points and Ozark was second with 69.5.
Nixa’s girls won outright conference titles in tennis, soccer and track, and the Eagles were the co-champs in volleyball.
Webb City’s girls finished third with 65.5 points. The Cardinals claimed a COC title in softball.
Joplin’s girls won a conference title in cross country, while Carl Junction’s girls captured a COC title in swimming.
