NEOSHO, Mo. — Carthage earned an 8-1 win over Neosho on Tuesday to move to 2-4 on the season.
In No. 1 singles play, Carthage’s Kianna Yates earned an 8-0 win over Claudia Martensen, while Daniela Marquez defeated Jasmine Martinez 8-1 in No. 2 singles.
Neosho’s Lydnsey Doke earned a forfeit win over Anayansi Lopez-Rodas, while Carthage’s Katie Braton won 8-0 over Alex Olsbo. Beverly Garcia-Hernandez earned an 8-1 win over Georgia Housh. Lynnd Guerra finished with a 8-2 win over Keely Keeton.
In doubles action, Yates and Marquez defeated Martensen and Doke 8-0, while Lopez-Rodas and Barton earned an 8-0 win over Martinez and Olsbo. Garcia-Hernandez and Guerra defeated Housh and Keeton 8-6.
