NEOSHO, Mo. — Neosho starter Chloe Patterson will always remember her start against Carl Junction after tossing a four-inning perfect game to help lead the Wildcats to a 15-0 win over Carl Junction on Tuesday.
Patterson didn’t allow a base runner all game and struck out six over four innings to earn the perfect-game victory.
Hannah Cole took the loss for Carl Junction after allowing 15 runs, four earned, on 10 hits, two walks and a strikeout in 3 1/3 innings.
Neosho wasted little time getting the lead as the Wildcats opened with a five-run first inning. NHS added seven runs in the second and three more in the fourth to seal the win via run rule.
Abbie Carpenter led Neosho with four hits, including two doubles, as well as three RBI and two runs scored. Beclynn Garrett had a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Maddie Carpenter added two hits, scored twice and drove in one.
Neosho hosts Ozark on Thursday.
