College Heights softball scored in every inning on the way to an 8-2 win over Miller on Monday.
The Cougars, with McAuley Catholic, improved to 6-1 with the win.
College Heights racked up 15 hits, scoring once in the first, third, fourth and sixth innings, while putting up two runs in each the second and fifth innings.
Maddy Colin earned the win after allowing two runs, both in the first inning, on three hits, and 13 strikeouts.
Layne Jackson went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, two RBI and a run scored. Sarah Painter doubled and had three hits, one run scored and one RBI. Avery Good had two hits, including a double, scored twice and drove in one. Lauren Ukena had two hits and a run scored. Addie Lawrence homered, had two RBI and scored a run. Jayli Johnson tripled and scored a run.
College Heights is at Lamar on Tuesday.
