The Neosho High School boys soccer team suffered a 3-1 setback to Republic on Tuesday in Central Ozark Conference action.
Republic took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute on a goal from Santino Stiglianese.
Neosho’s goal came in the 26th minute and was scored by Byron Gomez.
Republic’s Brayden Tharp and Diego Zuniga scored goals in the second half for the final margin.
Neosho goalkeeper Bailey Motley made two saves.
Neosho fell to 9-3.
The Wildcats host Carl Junction on Tuesday.
