PREP GOLF: Thomas Jefferson wins triangular at Twin Hills

Thomas Jefferson finished with a final score of 188 as a team to win a nine-hole triangular match against McAuley Catholic (208) and College Heights (252) at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.

Thomas Jefferson’s Owen D’Amour took first medalist honors after shooting a six-over-par 42 on the front nine holes, while Jack Tyrrell followed up with a 44 to take second medalist honors. Jake Jarrett added a 50, while Luke Miller carded a 52. Caden Myers shot a 54 to round out the TJ scoring.

McAuley’s Evan D’Amour took third medalist honors with a team-low 46. Joe Lupicki carded a 51, while Daniel Wagner shot a 53. Cade Englert scored a 58, with Rocco Bazzano-Joseph rounding out the Warriors’ scoring with a 62.

Luke Johnson led the Cougars with a 57, while Matthew Winters scored a 59. Ashley Buchanan and Emily Winters each shot a 66, while Marley Woodford scored a 70 for College Heights.
